The rules, exactly.
Every tag on this site comes from a written rule, not a guess. Here they are. If something looks wrong on a job, tap Report on its page and we'll look.
Scam check on every job
Each job page has a Scam check with a verdict: Looks legit, Check first or Red flags. These are the signs we look for:
| Sign | Verdict |
|---|---|
| People reported this job as a scam or fake | Red flags |
| Asks for a fee, deposit or paid training | Red flags |
| You apply only through WhatsApp or Telegram | Red flags |
| Recruiter uses a personal email like Gmail | Red flags |
| Pay looked wrong for a fresher role, so we hid it | Check first |
| Unpaid | Check first |
| Wants unpaid work or an assignment before any interview | Check first |
| Applications go to a Google Form, not a careers site | Check first |
| Link is a job site, not the company's own page | Check first |
"People reported this job" turns on when 3 different people report it as a scam or fake. Got a message about a job yourself? Paste it into the scam checker.
Where links go
- Company's own page: the apply link is the company's careers site or its hiring system (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and so on). Right now 14 of 54 jobs in the feed are like this, and they show first.
- Job boards: some jobs come from Adzuna, LinkedIn or Naukri. They say so on the card ("Jobs by Adzuna", "Via LinkedIn") and the Apply button goes there.
- Job blogs: when a job only appears on a blog full of ads, we don't send you there. Apply searches for the role on the company's own site instead.
Link re-checks
Company links are re-checked about once a day, and dead ones are closed. Adzuna links can't be re-checked, so those close after 30 days. A job with a deadline closes the day after it.
Experience, Fresher-safe and "Truly 0 experience"
- We read the experience line from the job text first and quote it on the job page. If the job text doesn't say, we use the listing's summary line and say so.
- Fresher-safe means the most experience asked is 1 year or less. "0–3 years" is not Fresher-safe. An internship that says nothing about experience counts as Fresher-safe.
- Truly 0 experience means the job asks for none at all: "freshers", "0 years", "no experience required". "Entry level" is Fresher-safe but not Truly 0.
- Jobs asking for 2 or more years, and senior titles, are kept out of the fresher feed. Their pages stay up with a note.
- "Says entry-level, asks N+ yrs" appears when a title says junior, associate, trainee or similar but the job asks for 2 or more years.
Other tags
- Internship only when the listing says intern, internship or stipend.
- Pay: pay above ₹15 LPA for a fresher role, or a pay line that mixes monthly and yearly, is hidden and marked "needs review". "Pay not shown" is a warning, because you should ask before you commit.
- IT roles only hides core engineering and non-tech roles (mechanical, piping, purchase, customer care and so on).
- Duplicates: the same company with a similar title within 7 days, or the same job link, shows once.
Reports and reply rates
- "Did they call back?" One answer per person per job: your account if you're logged in, otherwise your browser. You can change or undo it. There's a limit of 30 answers a day per person and 60 per network, so nobody can flood the numbers.
- A company's reply rate shows once 5 people have answered across its jobs. The usual reply time is shown as a range (under a week, 1–2 weeks, 2–4 weeks), from the people who said how long.
- The onboarding tracker shows a company's median wait from offer to joining date, and how many are still waiting, once it has 5 reports.
- Answers and reports are anonymous. See the privacy note.
What we can't guarantee
- That a job is real. The checks catch common scam patterns, not every scam. Always confirm on the company's own site, and never pay anyone to get a job.
- That a job is still open. Companies close roles early, and Adzuna links aren't re-checked at all.
- That you'll hear back. Reply rates are what other people told us, not a promise.
- That every detail is right. Job summaries, skills, keywords and prep questions are written by an AI model from the listing, and they can be wrong. The listing on the company's site is what counts.
- Salaries, dates and hiring processes. They change. We show what the listing or source said, with the date we checked.
